One of the interesting things about starting a new business is learning how much you have to do besides actually providing your products or services. Last night we were doing one of those – networking.
We were invited to a business networking meeting at William C. Huff Moving by the president, Jim Henderson. The highlight of the event was a presentation by Urban Solar Group on the solar power installation WCH had installed on their warehouse. In a single day they are already generating enough power for the warehouse to be energy self-sufficient. I think this a great example of business being about more than just money. This is an example of an investment not just in business infrastructure but also in the community and the future. I really commend Jim Henderson and the Urban Solar Group for their contributions to clean energy.
