Well, life has a way of intervening sometimes. We had great plans to start the New Year running – a long, much discussed to-do list. Instead, we found ourselves in the veterinary emergency hospital at midnight on New Year’s Day. Coco, our senior manager, had a life-threatening episode due to laryngeal paralysis. At midnight we transferred her to a hospital for surgery. After a couple tense days, we are happy to say that Coco is home and recovering nicely. You can see from the picture that she’s well supervised. As for that to-do list, we’ll get to that next week. That’s just the way it goes sometimes.
